Short and steady — the plain meaning, with the reports that bear on it and little else.

Āl ʿImrān 3:197 Juzʾ 4 Page 76

‏‏‏ ‏‏‏‏ ‏‏ ‏‏‏‏‏‏ ‏‏‏‏‏ ‏‏‏‏ ‏‏‏‏‏‏ ‏

[It is but] a small enjoyment; then their [final] refuge is Hell, and wretched is the resting place.

‏‏‏ ‏‏‏‏ ‏‏ ‏‏‏‏‏‏ ‏‏‏‏‏ ‏‏‏‏ ‏‏‏‏‏‏ وَفِيه دَلِيل على أَن أقل الْقَلِيل من الْجنَّة خير من الدُّنْيَا، وَفِي الحَدِيث: " لموْضِع سَوط من الْجنَّة خير من الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا ".
