كتاب فضائل الصحابة رضى الله تعالى عنهم
حَدَّثَنَاهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سَالِمُ بْنُ نُوحٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ أُكَيْدِرَ، دُومَةِ الْجَنْدَلِ أَهْدَى لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم. حُلَّةً فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ فِيهِ وَكَانَ يَنْهَى عَنِ الْحَرِيرِ.
Anas reported the king of Dumat al-Jandal presented to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) the garment and lie made no mention (of the fact) that he prohibited the use of silk.
