كتاب الجهاد
حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ، غُسِّلَ وَكُفِّنَ وَصُلِّيَ عَلَيْهِ وَكَانَ شَهِيدًا يَرْحَمُهُ اللَّهُ.
Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi from Abdullah ibn Umar that Umar ibn al-Khattab was washed and shrouded and prayed over, yet he was a martyr, may Allah have mercy on him.
