‏‏‏ ‏‏‏ ‏‏‏‏‏ ‏‏ ‏‏‏ ‏‏ ‏‏‏ ‏‏ ‏‏‏ ‏‏‏ ‏‏‏ ‏‏ ‏‏‏ ‏‏ ‏‏‏ ‏‏‏ ‏‏‏‏ ‏‏‏‏‏‏ ‏‏‏ ‏‏ ‏‏‏‏‏ ‏‏‏ ‏‏‏‏‏‏ ‏‏‏‏‏‏ ‏

Allah is the one who created you from weakness, then made after weakness strength, then made after strength weakness and white hair. He creates what He wills, and He is the Knowing, the Competent.

Read in the muṣḥaf

قَوْلُهُ: ‏‏‏ ‏‏‏ ‏‏‏‏‏ ‏‏ ‏‏‏ قالَ قَتادَةُ: مِن نُطْفَةٍ.

‏‏ ‏‏‏ ‏‏ ‏‏‏ ‏‏‏ ‏‏‏ قالَهُ مُجاهِدٌ: شَبابًا.

‏‏ ‏‏‏ ‏‏ ‏‏‏ ‏‏‏ ‏‏‏‏ ‏‏‏‏‏‏ يَعْنِي هَرَمًا وشَيْبَةً، قالَ قَتادَةُ: لِأنَّ بَياضَ الشَّعْرِ نَذِيرٌ بِالفَناءِ، قالَ الشّاعِرُ:

؎ أُرِيتُ الشَّيْبَ مِن نُذُرِ المَنايا لِصاحِبِهِ وحَسْبَكَ مِن نَذِيرٍ

‏‏‏ ‏‏ ‏‏‏‏‏ مِن قُوَّةٍ وضَعْفٍ.

‏‏‏ ‏‏‏‏‏‏ بِتَدْبِيرِهِ.
