‏‏‏‏ ‏‏‏‏ ‏‏‏‏‏ ‏ ‏‏‏‏ ‏‏‏ ‏‏ ‏‏‏‏‏ ‏

Abiding therein forever, they will not find a protector or a helper.

التفسير الوسيط Ṭanṭāwī

( خَالِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَداً ) أى : خالدين فيها خلودا أبديا لا خروج لهم منها معه .( لاَّ يَجِدُونَ وَلِيّاً وَلاَ نَصِيراً ) أى لا يجدون من يحول بينهم وبين الدخول فى هذه النار المسعرة ، كما لا يجدون من يخلصهم من عذابها وسعيرها .

The Day their faces will be turned about in the Fire, they will say, "How we wish we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the Messenger."

التفسير الوسيطṬanṭāwī

ثم بين - سبحانه - حسراتهم عندما يحل بهم العذاب فى الآخرة فقال : يوم تقلب وجوههم فى النار ، يقولون يا ليتنا أطعنا الله وأطعنا الرسولا .و ( يَوْمَ ) ظرف لعدم الوجدان لمن يدافع عنهم أو ينصرهم أى : لا يجدون من يدفع عنهم العذاب : يوم تقلب وجوههم فى النار تارة إلى جهة ، وتارة إلى جهة أخرى ، كما يقلب اللحم عند شوائه .وحينئذ يقولون على سبيل التحسر والتفجع : يا ليتنا أطعنا الله - تعالى - فيما أمرنا به ، وأطعنا رسوله فيما جاءنا به من عند ربه .قال صاحب الكشاف : وقوله : ( تُقَلَّبُ ) بمعنى تتقلب ، ومعنى تقليبها : تصريفها فى الجهات ، كما ترى البيضة تدور فى القدر إذا غلت ، فترامى بها الغليان من جهة إلى جهة .أو تغييرها عن أحوالها وتحويلها عن هيئاتها ، أو طرحها فى النار مقلوبة منكوسة .وخصت الوجوه بالذكر ، لأنه الوجه أكرم موضع على الإنسان من جسده ويجوز أن يكون الوجه عبارة عن الجملة .

‏‏‏‏‏‏ ‏‏‏‏ ‏‏‏ ‏‏‏‏‏ ‏‏‏‏‏‏ ‏‏‏‏‏‏‏‏ ‏‏‏‏‏‏‏ ‏‏‏‏‏‏ ‏

And they will say, "Our Lord, indeed we obeyed our masters and our dignitaries, and they led us astray from the [right] way.

التفسير الوسيطṬanṭāwī

( وَقَالُواْ رَبَّنَآ إِنَّآ أَطَعْنَا سَادَتَنَا وَكُبَرَآءَنَا فَأَضَلُّونَا السبيلا ) ، أى : وقال هؤلاء الكافرون - بعد هذا التحسر والتفجع - يا ربنا إنا أطعنا فى الدنيا ( سَادَتَنَا وَكُبَرَآءَنَا ) أى : ملوكنا ورؤساءنا وزعماءنا ، فجعلونا فى ضلال عن الصراط المستقيم ، وعن السبيل الحق .

‏‏‏‏ ‏‏‏‏‏ ‏‏‏‏ ‏‏ ‏‏‏‏‏‏ ‏‏‏‏‏‏‏ ‏‏‏‏ ‏‏‏‏‏ ‏

Our Lord, give them double the punishment and curse them with a great curse."

O you who have believed, be not like those who abused Moses; then Allah cleared him of what they said. And he, in the sight of Allah, was distinguished.

O you who have believed, fear Allah and speak words of appropriate justice.

He will [then] amend for you your deeds and forgive you your sins. And whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger has certainly attained a great attainment.

Indeed, we offered the Trust to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, and they declined to bear it and feared it; but man [undertook to] bear it. Indeed, he was unjust and ignorant.

[It was] so that Allah may punish the hypocrite men and hypocrite women and the men and women who associate others with Him and that Allah may accept repentance from the believing men and believing women. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.
